Our students, from all corners of the world, draw on a broad and diverse range of perspectives in advance of a shared goal: to couple cutting edge analytical tools with deep contextual understanding to address complex economic, social, and environmental problems. Explore ways to engage with gui2de’s mission and research programs below.
Ways to get involved
Students can work with gui2de throughout the academic semester as paid hourly Research Assistants, supporting research projects and working directly with gui2de’s research staff and affiliated faculty from across the University on workstreams such as program design and implementation, survey instrument coding, data cleaning and analysis, writing and dissemination, and partner engagement. Positions are available on an as-needed, rolling basis throughout the year and are advertised on our website.
Students can also take advantage of the gui2de Summer Internship program. The program offers students the opportunity to spend a summer working hands-on in the field in support of faculty research projects around the world.
gui2de also offers a Research Methods course at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Taught by gui2de’s research staff, this applied elective course provides students the opportunity to learn the tools and skills required to successfully design and implement development projects in the field, and manage data collection and analysis.
