Josiah Muyesu is a highly motivated and self-driven team player with a fifteen-year career portfolio of non-profit organization management having successfully implemented research projects in East and West Africa. Josiah holds a Master’s degree in Project Planning and Management(PPM) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s Degree in Development studies from the University of Makerere, Uganda.
His background reflects cumulative knowledge and expertise in thematic areas of educational reform, health, digital financial services, road safety, gender and government administration. His extensive experience has allowed him to be at the forefront in leading communication about project(s) to various technical and non-technical audiences, providing strategic direction, guidance and coordination to program design, management and implementation as well as understanding and making appropriate use of M&E concepts and best practices in project/program design and approach.
Josiah has a track record of helping to lead project teams to success through his natural leadership skills as well as his creative thought process that helps to generate new strategies for improving project performance and harnessing the capabilities of different individuals on the team to meet the set organizational goals. Some of the gui2de projects that Josiah has worked on include; Comic FX (Financial Literacy) in 2012, SWASH + Community Action in 2013/2014, Maternal – Cash on Delivery in 2013/2014, High Hopes Saving for school in 2014/2015, DERP (Data for Education and Research Programming) in 2015/2016, Zusha! Road safety in East and West Africa among other projects.
