Anthony Mwambanga is a seasoned Project Manager at What Works Hub for Global Education. He has extensive experience managing large-scale evidence-based research projects in education, coordinating field operations, and engaging with government stakeholders. His work spans data collection, survey design, randomized control trials, and policy analysis. Previously, he coordinated projects at the RISE Programme/Twaweza East Africa, overseeing education research and intervention programs across Tanzania. He has also worked on ICT integration in education and citizen-government engagement initiatives.
Beyond education research, Anthony has worked on civic engagement, national stakeholder coordination, and policy advocacy. He brings strong analytical skills and a deep commitment to strengthening education systems. He holds a Master’s in Development Studies from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Bachelor’s in Education Policy Planning and Management from the University of Dodoma.
