    Intuit, a global technology company headquartered in Mountain View, California, is a leading provider of business and financial management solutions for small and mid-sized businesses. gui²de faculty, along with its other partners, are conducting an independent study of the economic impact of mobile solutions on farmers’ livelihoods in the Indian state of Karnataka, and are specifically examining the socio-economic impact of Intuit’s Fasal offering that provides real-time market price information to farmers via SMS.

    The Global Partnership for Social Accountability is a global multi-stakeholder coalition of World Bank member countries that aims to increase levels of social accountability at the country level. The GPSA provides strategic and sustained support to beneficiary groups and civil society organizations (CSOs) in developing countries that are working with their governments, to promote greater transparency and accountability. gui²de joins GPSA as a global partner in working to understand the effectiveness of different types of accountability mechanisms, and to help to improve these over time.
