Rate: 19$/hour for undergraduate students, 24$/hour for graduate students

Reports to: Senior Data and Research Manager and Principal Investigator

Project : Healthcare Financial Diaries

gui2de is hiring a student Research Assistant to support the Health Financial Diaries project in Kenya, collaborative research project between FSD Kenya, Ekko Insights, and gui2de.
HealthFin Diaries is a longitudinal study aimed at understanding health-related behaviors, expenditures, and outcomes in Kenya. We will follow households across Kenya for two years and collect financial diaries on a biweekly basis. 
The RA will work on:
– high frequency checks and data cleaning in Stata
– data analysis and visualization
– generate insights for dissemination

Project : What Works Hub Tanzania

gui2de is hiring a student Research Assistant to support the What Works Hub for Global Education program, a large, multi-country research project funded by the UK’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) with other development partners.  The WWHGE program in Tanzania, led by Professors James Habyarimana and Jacobus Cilliers, aims to expand the evidence base around education reform and studying the implementation of the national Teacher Continuous Professional Development (TCPD) policy by establishing a Tanzania Institute of Education Lab (TIE-EdLab) that is designing and implementing research activities in close partnership with the government. 
The RA will be responsible for:
– survey design and programming
– data analysis and visualization
– adaptive experimentation
– progress reports
